Location: Charlotte, NC (Must reside within 45 miles)
Work Arrangement: 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote
Employment Type: W2 Only

We are seeking a Functional IT Program Manager to join the Global Technology Operations team, supporting Global Financial Crimes Technology. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in financial forecasting, project and change management, and a strong background in the banking sector. Candidates with prior experience at Bank of America are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage financial forecasting and variance reporting for active projects

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project plans

  • Collaborate across project, technology, and business teams to ensure alignment and delivery

  • Execute tasks aligned with Enterprise Change Management requirements

  • Facilitate communication and negotiation across multiple levels of stakeholders

  • Prepare and maintain governance documentation and support routine reporting

  • Analyze and present project financials and updates with high accuracy and attention to detail

  • Manage concurrent complex projects in a dynamic environment

  • Promote team collaboration and contribute to issue resolution

  • Translate complex technical and financial data into clear, actionable presentations

  • Drive results through influence, credibility, and strategic problem-solving

Job requirements

  • 4–5 years of experience in banking, with a focus on Financial Crime, AML, and Change Management

  • Prior Bank of America experience strongly preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Tableau

  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Strong knowledge of financial principles related to project management

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage priorities independently

  • Experience working within or familiarity with BAC Enterprise Change Standards is a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive reporting and stakeholder engagement
