We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Consultant specializing in OpenText Content Server to join our dynamic team in Plano, TX. This is a hybrid role and requires candidates to be located near the work location.

As an ECM Consultant, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of OpenText Content Server solutions – including design, development, configuration, customization, and maintenance. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement and support scalable and robust ECM solutions tailored to business needs.

  • Develop, configure, customize, and maintain OpenText Content Server and its associated modules.

  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality ECM solutions.

  • Troubleshoot and implement strategies to resolve OpenText Content Server issues.

  • Maintain seamless operation and performance optimization of the Content Server platform.

  • Support upgrades and data migrations from legacy systems.

  • Administer integrated systems and infrastructure components supporting the ECM platform.

Job requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in ECM system design, development, and support, specifically with OpenText products.

    1. Expertise in data migration to the OpenText platform using industry-standard migration tools.

    2. Practical knowledge of OpenText version upgrades (16.x/20.x).

    3. Strong experience with Content Server modules such as Workflows, WebReports, and LiveReports.

    4. Proven skills in installation and configuration of OpenText Content Server applications.

    5. Proficiency in Oracle SQL and database querying.

    6. Experience customizing Content Server using Web Services and REST APIs.

    7. Understanding of infrastructure components: databases, storage devices, load balancers, Active Directory, backup solutions, etc.

    8. Solid programming skills in Java or .NET, with a strong grasp of object-oriented programming.

    9. Familiarity with JSON APIs, Python, Alteryx workflows, OAUTH authentication, and CS workflows.
