Location: Plano, TX / Charlotte, NC
Duration: 12-Month Contract (High potential for extension)
Employment Type: W2 Only

We are seeking an experienced Neo4J Developer with a strong background in graph databases, data engineering, and real-time data processing to join our dynamic technology team. This role involves building end-to-end analytics platforms with an emphasis on graph technology, high-throughput data pipelines, and collaboration across data science and product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy high-performance graph-based and streaming data platforms

  • Implement and optimize pipelines capable of processing large datasets quickly and reliably

  • Guide architectural decisions, ensure code quality, and uphold enterprise-level strategies

  • Lead and mentor small development teams in an Agile environment

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and product managers

  • Ensure system scalability, security, recoverability, and operational excellence

  • Produce and review architectural artifacts that align with company principles and best practices

  • Support data integrity, system confidentiality, and secure software development protocols

Job requirements

  • Graph Technologies: Proficient in Neo4J and TigerGraph

    1. Programming Languages: Strong experience in Java, Scala, or Python

    2. Graph Databases & Analytics: Deep understanding of graph-based workflows and graph analytics

    3. Big Data Ecosystem:

      • Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, and YARN

      • Experience building streaming and batch data pipelines

    4. Software Development: Minimum of 6+ years in software development or data science roles

    5. Frameworks & Tools: Proven ability to build and maintain scalable software frameworks using modern tools and platforms

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field

      • Experience working in fast-paced, innovative environments

      • Demonstrated ability to drive a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and collaboration

      • Clear and effective communication with stakeholders and technical teams
