Location: Plano, TX / Charlotte, NC
Duration: 12-Month Contract (High potential for extension)
Employment Type: W2 Only
We are seeking an experienced Neo4J Developer with a strong background in graph databases, data engineering, and real-time data processing to join our dynamic technology team. This role involves building end-to-end analytics platforms with an emphasis on graph technology, high-throughput data pipelines, and collaboration across data science and product teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy high-performance graph-based and streaming data platforms
Implement and optimize pipelines capable of processing large datasets quickly and reliably
Guide architectural decisions, ensure code quality, and uphold enterprise-level strategies
Lead and mentor small development teams in an Agile environment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and product managers
Ensure system scalability, security, recoverability, and operational excellence
Produce and review architectural artifacts that align with company principles and best practices
Support data integrity, system confidentiality, and secure software development protocols
Job requirements
Graph Technologies: Proficient in Neo4J and TigerGraph
Programming Languages: Strong experience in Java, Scala, or Python
Graph Databases & Analytics: Deep understanding of graph-based workflows and graph analytics
Big Data Ecosystem:
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, and YARN
Experience building streaming and batch data pipelines
Software Development: Minimum of 6+ years in software development or data science roles
Frameworks & Tools: Proven ability to build and maintain scalable software frameworks using modern tools and platforms
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
Experience working in fast-paced, innovative environments
Demonstrated ability to drive a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and collaboration
Clear and effective communication with stakeholders and technical teams
