We are seeking a Salesforce Enterprise Architect to serve as a strategic leader and technical expert, responsible for aligning Salesforce platform initiatives with broader enterprise architecture goals. The role involves architecting scalable solutions, evaluating platform capabilities, guiding technology decisions, and delivering a comprehensive application technology roadmap. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in Salesforce technologies, particularly in healthcare payer ecosystems, and demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.
Design, implement, and maintain scalable, high-performance solutions on the Salesforce platform in alignment with enterprise application strategies.
Integrate Salesforce with other enterprise data sources while adhering to best practices and business requirements.
Serve as a liaison between business and technology teams to translate strategic objectives into actionable Salesforce solutions.
Develop and maintain enterprise architecture artifacts including solution blueprints, technology roadmaps, integration patterns, and data models.
Lead the decision-making process around build-vs-buy for new capabilities, ensuring risk-aware architectural decisions.
Promote architectural standards and governance practices across the enterprise.
Provide technical oversight throughout the full software development lifecycle, resolving design and architectural challenges.
Design and implement robust Salesforce DevOps frameworks including CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Copado, and Bitbucket.
Drive adoption of automation and version control processes for efficient release management.
Job requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal and analytical capabilities.
Ability to function both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong understanding of software design patterns, n-tier architecture, data access architectures, and scripting/batch processes.
Demonstrated experience with enterprise-scale application systems.
Proven problem-solving skills and independent technical decision-making ability.
Deep knowledge of current and emerging IT technologies.
Salesforce-Specific Qualifications
Proven solution and technical design experience with Salesforce Health Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud in a healthcare payer context.
Expert knowledge of Salesforce data model, security architecture, Apex, LWC/Aura, and process automation tools (Flows, Triggers, etc.).
Experience with integration tools and patterns, including Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica IICS, and Snowflake.
In-depth understanding of Salesforce platform limitations, operational procedures, and best practices.
Demonstrated experience with real-time and batch integrations in complex enterprise environments.Preferred Certifications and Experience
Salesforce Certifications: Application Architect, System Architect, and/or Platform Developer II.
Experience with compliance frameworks and security models: HIPAA, Salesforce Shield, FedRAMP, Salesforce Government Cloud.
Familiarity with BPO services/OSP model licensing is a plus.
