We are seeking a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer / SRE / Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience in OpenShift platform builds and automation, and hands-on development skills in Java or Python with a focus on API development. This is a high-impact role that supports enterprise infrastructure development, automation, and platform reliability.
Lead the design, build, and automation of enterprise-grade OpenShift environments.
Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions for consistent and repeatable deployments.
Collaborate with application developers and infrastructure teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines.
Create and manage APIs using Java or Python to enable service integrations and tooling automation.
Perform platform administration, monitor health and performance, and ensure high availability and reliability.
Troubleshoot complex issues across infrastructure, networking, and container platforms.
Job requirements
5–8+ years of experience in DevOps / SRE / Infrastructure roles.
Proven track record with OpenShift platform build and admin experience.
Proficient in Java or Python development, with an emphasis on backend/API work.
Strong understanding of virtualization technologies like VMware.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Top 3 Must-Have Skills:
OpenShift Expertise (Top Priority)
Proven experience in building, installing, and automating OpenShift clusters in an enterprise environment.
Deep understanding of OpenShift administration – not just usage, but platform build and management.
Strong Programming Background in Java or Python
Experience developing APIs and integrating with backend systems.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
Virtualization / Infrastructure Technologies
Hands-on experience with VMware or similar virtualization platforms.
Infrastructure design and deployment understanding.
Nice to Have:
Experience with KVM or other Hypervisors
Exposure to Software Defined Networking (SDN)
Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
