We are seeking a Network Engineer with subject matter expertise in DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) to join our dynamic IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting and managing enterprise-level DDI systems, ensuring efficient and secure network operations across global regions. This role is crucial for delivering reliable network services and handling operational changes in a complex IT environment.

  • Act as the DDI Subject Matter Expert, specifically with VitalQIP and BlueCat platforms.

  • Manage and support global DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM) infrastructure.

  • Oversee and implement DDI change requests, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and documentation.

  • Operate and maintain network services across a multi-matrixed IT environment, ensuring high availability and scalability.

  • Handle and fulfill service requests involving DHCP/DNS configurations and IP address assignments.

  • Manage the QIP infrastructure globally, supporting different geographical regions in coordination with regional IT teams.

  • Assist in troubleshooting network/DNS-related issues and provide Tier 2/3 support.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including network engineering, cybersecurity, and service delivery to support business continuity.

Job requirements

Proven experience in Network Operations and Service Delivery roles.

  • Strong hands-on experience with VitalQIP and/or BlueCat DDI systems.

  • Deep understanding of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM fundamentals and best practices.

  • Familiarity with change management processes in large-scale IT operations.

  • Experience working in a global enterprise environment.

  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or relevant DDI vendor certifications.

  • Scripting or automation knowledge (Python, PowerShell) for DDI operations is a plus.Notes:

  • This role requires candidates who are local or willing to relocate to Charlotte, NC or Richmond, VA.
