Position Type: W2 Contract
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite, 2 Days Remote)
We are seeking an experienced Openlink Endur Engineer to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our Openlink Endur trade capture and risk management platform. This system serves as the system of record for our global commodities trading desk and is critical to front-to-back trade lifecycle processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in AVS and JVS scripting within Endur, along with a working knowledge of Python and experience in financial trading systems.
Develop and maintain custom solutions in Openlink Endur using AVS and JVS languages to support new and existing commodities trading products.
Collaborate with trading, risk, and back-office teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions supporting trade capture, PL reporting, risk analytics, invoicing, and confirmations.
Develop and optimize reports and business workflows to support front-to-back trading operations.
Analyze and troubleshoot production issues in coordination with stakeholders across IT and business units.
Enhance integration with upstream/downstream systems including Oracle and other enterprise data repositories.
Contribute to system performance improvements and maintain application stability in a hybrid working environment.
Job requirements
Proven experience working with Openlink Endur, particularly in AVS and JVS development.
Strong understanding of commodities trading, trade lifecycle, and risk management principles.
Proficient in Python, especially for data processing, automation, or report generation.
Experience with Oracle databases including writing queries, procedures, and data manipulation.
Solid understanding of financial markets and trading systems, preferably in the energy or commodities sector.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with system integration projects involving Endur.
Exposure to modern DevOps practices and tools.
Knowledge of .NET or other object-oriented programming languages.
