We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Project Manager (Spanish) to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This role will focus on managing complex, cross-functional projects in the banking and financial services sector, with an emphasis on handling global teams in Mexico and Brazil. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in project management, outstanding leadership abilities, and fluency in Spanish and English. A PMP certification is required.

Job requirements

    • Manage the implementation and configuration of systems and solutions, ensuring delivery meets business needs.

    • Engage stakeholders to understand the business situation, strategy, and goals.

    • Collaborate with business users to define project scope, requirements, and timelines.

    • Formulate and execute detailed project plans, overseeing cross-functional teams across multiple countries, including Mexico and Brazil.

    • Ensure end-to-end delivery of multiple related and material projects.

    • Manage and direct the work efforts of assigned project team members, including functionally aligned resources.

    • Lead the integration of various work streams to deliver comprehensive project solutions.

    • Ensure compliance with Enterprise standards, procedures, and documentation requirements.

    • Document and maintain complex business models, interacting across departments and participating in business definition meetings.

    • Drive adoption of operational processes and maintain a strong compliance culture.

    • Support Mexico regulatory payments portfolio implementation and collaborate closely with the Mexico business team.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Fluency in Spanish and English (oral and written).

    • PMP certification (mandatory).

    • Solid knowledge of the software development lifecycle (Agile and Waterfall).

    • Proven experience in the banking sector, handling large, complex projects.

    • Strong knowledge of business processes, product life cycles, and risk management.

    • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and client relationship management skills.

    • Experience managing project planning, scheduling, issue resolution, and project communications.

    • Ability to coordinate across developers, vendors, and business users in multiple locations.

    • Experience planning project deliverables and roadmaps in close collaboration with product owners.

    • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities.

    • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment and driving projects from concept to delivery.

    Desired Skills:

    • Knowledge of the Mexican financial markets (highly preferred).

    • Familiarity with regulatory environments and compliance requirements in Latin America.

    • Prior experience working on Mexico regulatory payments projects.
