We are seeking an experienced Production Services Specialist (Production Support) to join our team in Chandler, AZ. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of critical technology platforms. You will play a key role in managing daily operations, troubleshooting production issues, and working closely with development and operations teams to meet service-level agreements (SLAs).

Job requirements

    • Manage day-to-day operations of the technology platform, including technologies like Java, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Unix, Dynatrace/AppDynamics, Splunk, Kafka, Python, and Autosys.

    • Identify, log, and resolve production issues, including creating incident, enhancement, and problem tickets in the tracking system.

    • Lead production support issues/incidents, take ownership of escalations, and perform thorough troubleshooting, analysis, research, and resolution.

    • Ensure production and performance SLAs are consistently met, escalating issues as needed.

    • Identify vulnerabilities and improvement opportunities, develop metrics, and recommend best practices to drive continuous improvement.

    • Create and enhance administrative, operational, and technical policies and procedures, adopting industry best practices.

    • Exercise judgment within defined procedures to determine appropriate actions.

    • Participate in on-call rotations for off-hours and weekend support when required.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • 7+ years of IT experience in Production Support, ITIL, Release Support, or technical implementations.

    • Strong understanding of:

      • Java/J2EE

      • Dynatrace or AppDynamics

      • Splunk, Kafka, Python

    • Experience with middleware components: Message Broker, IBM WebSphere MQ, JBoss application server, MuleSoft.

    • Solid Unix and Windows OS knowledge with strong scripting abilities.

    • Database experience with Oracle, DB2, and expertise in PL/SQL query performance tuning.

    • Familiarity with event-driven and schedule-driven batch processes.

    • Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and release support frameworks.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

    • Demonstrated flexibility, ability to navigate ambiguity, and quickly build credibility among technical teams.
