We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Threat Intelligence Consultant to join our dynamic cybersecurity team in Charlotte, NC. This is a hybrid role requiring a strategic thinker with deep expertise in cyber threat intelligence and proven hands-on experience with leading threat intelligence tools. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience, be proficient in open-source intelligence (OSINT) techniques, and demonstrate the ability to understand and mitigate evolving cyber threats from various actors.

  • Collect, analyze, and operationalize threat intelligence to support proactive cybersecurity strategies.

  • Monitor and assess threat actor activities, including state-sponsored entities, organized crime groups, and insider threats.

  • Produce threat briefings and provide actionable insights to security operations and executive stakeholders.

  • Utilize OSINT and threat intelligence platforms to investigate indicators of compromise (IOCs) and emerging threats.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support threat detection, incident response, and risk assessments.

  • Develop and maintain intelligence-led processes to drive defensive strategies and threat hunting initiatives.

  • Lead or support the implementation of cyber threat frameworks and intelligence-sharing programs.

Job requirements

  • Required Qualifications:

    • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence, with a preference for 8+ years of total IT/Cybersecurity experience.

    • Demonstrated expertise in analyzing and interpreting threat data and TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures).

    • Strong experience in OSINT methodologies and conducting independent cyber investigations.

    • In-depth knowledge of adversary behaviors, including insider threats, organized fraud rings, and APTs (Advanced Persistent Threats).

    • Proven ability to present technical findings clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.

    • Experience with Threat Intelligence tools and platforms, including but not limited to:

      • Passive DNS

      • Network Flow Analysis tools

      • Maltego

      • VirusTotal

      • URLScan

    Additional Information:

    • This is a W2 opportunity; candidates with current or transferable visas are welcome.

    • The role is hybrid, requiring part-time on-site presence in Charlotte, NC.
