We are seeking an experienced TigerGraph Engineer / Developer to join our Cyber Crime Defense team in Charlotte, NC. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining graph database solutions using TigerGraph to support cyber fraud detection and mitigation efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graph technologies, data modeling, GSQL, and integration with large-scale data ecosystems.
Job requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Graph Data Modeling: Design and build efficient, scalable graph data models based on business requirements.
Query Development: Write and optimize complex queries using GSQL (TigerGraph’s query language) to analyze large-scale graph databases.
Integration: Integrate TigerGraph with other systems, applications, and data pipelines, including ETL processes and APIs.
Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of graph queries, ensuring scalability for large deployments.
Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, cybercrime analysts, and investigators to ensure successful deployment and integration of graph-based solutions.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot existing graph databases to ensure smooth operation and issue resolution.
Cross-Platform Data Integration: Connect and fetch data from RDBMS and Hadoop ecosystems using SQL queries.
Must-Have Skills and Technologies:
Strong hands-on experience with TigerGraph, Neo4j, GraphQL, or GraphSQL.
Ability to implement popular graph algorithms such as community detection, similarity, and centrality on existing data.
Proficiency in developing and consuming REST APIs using Python.
Experience with Kafka for data transfer and ingestion.
Experience with job schedulers such as Autosys.
Familiarity with MySQL and HDFS / Hadoop platforms.
Strong understanding of graph data modeling principles and optimization techniques.
Nice-to-Have (Preferred) Skills:
Familiarity with Expero graph visualization tools.
Prior experience working in cybercrime, fraud detection, or similar domains.
Soft Skills:
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
