We are seeking an experienced IT Program Manager with strong financial management, budgeting, reporting, and change management experience—specifically within banking or financial services environments. This role will support the Global Technology Operations team for Global Financial Crimes Technology, focusing on financial forecasting and management across complex technology initiatives.

Job requirements

    • Manage financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis across projects.

    • Create, maintain, and execute detailed project plans to meet deliverables and deadlines.

    • Collaborate closely with project teams, technology groups, and business stakeholders, proactively gathering status updates while minimizing disruption.

    • Execute on Enterprise Change Management (ECM) requirements and ensure compliance with governance standards.

    • Facilitate effective communication, influence, and negotiation both vertically (with executives) and horizontally (across teams) to drive alignment and results.

    • Establish, document, and maintain governance routines and processes.

    • Prepare actionable financial and project reports using tools such as Excel and Tableau.

    • Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

    • Apply knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to align technical and business goals.

    • Foster collaboration, problem-solving, and teamwork among stakeholders.

    • Translate complex data into clear presentations/reports for both technical and non-technical audiences.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Experience as an IT Program Manager or Project Manager with a banking or financial services background (mandatory).

    • Strong expertise in:

      • Financial management, budgeting, variance analysis, and reporting

      • Financial forecasting and management across technology programs

    • Strong knowledge of:

      • Microsoft Excel

      • Financial principles and reporting best practices

    • Familiarity with Tableau for data visualization and reporting.

    • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently.

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills with the ability to engage senior executives and business partners.

    • Self-motivated, highly organized, with excellent attention to detail.

    • Experience managing Enterprise Change Management processes.

    • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

    • High level of independence and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Prior experience with BAC Enterprise Change Standards (Bank of America context).

    • Familiarity with governance frameworks and best practices.
