We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Woodbridge Township, NJ. This role will focus on building and securing an OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) environment from the ground up and will be pivotal in establishing a secure, compliant infrastructure for our new data risk and control platform. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SecDevOps practices, CI/CD pipeline development, containerization, and cloud operations.

Job requirements

    • Build and secure the OpenShift Container Platform environment, ensuring a resilient and compliant infrastructure.

    • Establish SecDevOps and CI/CD pipelines from scratch to support enterprise solutions.

    • Lead the implementation of non-functional requirements (NFRs) and align delivery with performance metrics and SLAs.

    • Build tools and frameworks to ensure SLA adherence and promote best practices in technology operations.

    • Collaborate closely with Infosec, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to align with enterprise technology standards and establish robust DevOps practices.

    • Identify, manage, and remediate IT risk and technical debt.

    • Leverage on-prem and cloud capabilities for seamless CI/CD integration across build, test, deployment, and production monitoring.

    • Establish the production operating model, including change, incident, and defect management workflows.

    • Define and promote frameworks and best practices for integration and automation.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 7+ years hands-on experience in:

      • Establishing SecDevOps and CI/CD pipelines

      • Leading enterprise NFR initiatives

      • Delivering on performance metrics and SLAs

      • Aligning with Infosec, Infrastructure, and Operations for tech standards

      • Managing IT risk and technical debt

    • 7+ years with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift containers

    • 5+ years with cloud platforms: OpenShift (OCP), GCP, Azure

    • 7+ years using Eclipse or IntelliJ IDE

    • 5+ years with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Harness, UCD, GitHub, Maven, Gradle

    • 5+ years with DevSecOps tools: SonarQube, GitLab, Checkmarx, Black Duck

    • 5+ years with deployment, logging, and monitoring tools: ELK Stack, Splunk, AppDynamics, Liquibase

    • 5+ years proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Bash, Shell

    • 3+ years working with testing frameworks: Jasmine, Karma, Selenium, JUnit, JMeter, RestAssured, Postman

    • 3+ years experience in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban), Jira, Confluence

    • 3+ years using ServiceNow workflows to manage production changes, incidents, and defects

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Prior experience implementing production operating models in a regulated industry

    • Familiarity with large-scale enterprise or financial services environments
