We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our team and contribute to building and maintaining robust mobile applications for Wells Fargo. This is a hands-on development role that offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects in a collaborative and fast-paced enterprise environment.
Job requirements
Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications for Wells Fargo’s mobile platforms.
Contribute to the design, architecture, and overall quality of Android applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, QA, and product) to deliver enterprise-grade mobile solutions.
Ensure applications meet performance, quality, and responsiveness standards.
Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and architecture discussions.
Identify and fix bugs and improve application performance.
Qualifications:
5-7 years of total development experience.
4+ years of Android development in an enterprise setting.
3+ years of Kotlin experience, including Reactive Programming (RxJava), Coroutines, Dependency Injection (Dagger), Retrofit, and Jetpack Architecture Components.
Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
Proven experience publishing applications to the Google Play Store (examples or links to published apps preferred).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Technical degree or equivalent additional hands-on experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
FinTech or banking experience is a plus, but not required.
Key Requirements:
Must score at least 85% on HackerRank test.
Must have Android Studio installed for the technical interview.
Commitment to 3 days per week onsite in San Leandro, CA — no exceptions.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Reactive Programming (RxJava).
Background in Dependency Injection (Dagger) and Retrofit.
Familiarity with financial technology (FinTech) or banking applications.
