Job requirements

  • We are seeking an experienced ERP Business Analyst to support the evaluation, planning, and implementation of a new cloud-based campus-wide ERP system. Our current ERP, PeopleSoft, is outdated, and the institution is transitioning to a modern solution to better manage financials, purchasing, payments, student interface, and additional core operations. This role will be critical in gathering requirements, analyzing needs across departments, and supporting the selection and deployment of the new ERP system.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with various departments to gather business requirements, develop needs assessments, and define system specifications.

    • Work closely with stakeholders to identify current system gaps, pain points, and areas for improvement.

    • Lead or support RFP processes, vendor evaluations, and selection of the new ERP system.

    • Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements to guide the configuration and implementation of the ERP system.

    • Ensure the cloud-based solution meets institutional goals, compliance standards, and best practices in higher education.

    • Support change management efforts across departments to facilitate a smooth ERP transition.

    • Participate in or lead testing, training, documentation, and rollout of new ERP features.

    • Provide ongoing support and analysis throughout all stages of the ERP project lifecycle.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 10+ years of experience as an ERP Business Analyst or similar role.

    • Proven experience delivering cloud-based ERP solutions in an educational or similarly complex organizational environment.

    • Deep understanding of ERP system functions, including financial management, purchasing, payments, student information systems, and related operations.

    • Strong ability to gather requirements from diverse groups across multiple departments and translate them into actionable specifications.

    • Familiarity with PeopleSoft and knowledge of modern ERP platforms.

    • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.

    • Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a hybrid work environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience working within higher education institutions.

    • Knowledge of ERP selection, RFPs, and vendor management processes.

    Additional Information:

    • Hybrid schedule; occasional evening, weekend, or holiday work may be required and must be pre-approved by Lee College.

    • Only W2 candidates will be considered.
