Data Engineer- Plano, TX

Rate: $57/hour on W2

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Data Engineer to join our team in Plano, TX. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional who thrives on designing scalable data pipelines and integrating AI/ML capabilities into real-world applications. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in Python-based data engineering, modern cloud environments, and a passion for high-impact data systems.

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering

  • Advanced Python programming skills for data pipelines and automation

  • Expertise in Data Mining and large-scale data processing

  • Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native data solutions

  • Proficient in CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins

  • Containerization with Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes

  • Familiarity with AI/ML integration in data systems

  Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, Data Engineer, or DevOps preferred)

  • Frontend experience with React or backend knowledge in Java

  • Experience working with unstructured databases (NoSQL) such as MongoDB, DynamoDB

  • Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools like Splunk

  • Background in Network or Data Telemetry

  • Exposure to SRE practices (Site Reliability Engineering)

  • Understanding of IAM (Identity and Access Management) protocols and policies
