Job Title: Linux Engineer with Java

Key Requirement

• Strong Linux Engineering experience

• Hands-on Java coding experience

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 8–10 years of experience in Linux system administration/engineering

• Strong experience with Java development

• Experience with scripting (Bash, PowerShell)

• Knowledge of server monitoring, automation, and infrastructure management

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers in a Linux environment

• Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies

• Monitor the health and performance of Linux servers through automated and manual processes

• Design and develop infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools using scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell

• Perform server hardware maintenance and upgrades

• Create test automation frameworks in collaboration with team members and other IT departments

• Develop tools to improve the functionality and efficiency of infrastructure

• Maintain software repositories and apply necessary updates and patches

• Maintain documentation for procedures, configurations, and programs
