Position Overview:

We are seeking a Junior SOC Analyst with strong hands-on experience in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Data At-Rest (DAR) scanning to support operational security functions tied to high-visibility business initiatives, such as divestitures. This is a highly technical role requiring operational diligence, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver structured DLP scans and result packages to internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run, test, and configure Data At-Rest scans, analyze results, and package findings for the Divestiture Team.

  • Perform remediation and escalation of DLP incidents.

  • Provide ad hoc reports and data to support risk management and compliance teams.

  • Offer security consultation and awareness to ensure alignment with enterprise information security policies.

  • Respond to audit, risk partner, and regulatory inquiries regarding DLP and DAR procedures.

  • Maintain and update operational procedures and documentation.

  • Identify, assess, and assist in mitigating information security risks.

  • Support the development and enforcement of security standards and best practices.

  • Investigate and recommend actions for potential security incidents.

  • Track changes in regulatory compliance affecting information security, and recommend relevant procedural updates.

  • Collaborate closely with peers, internal customers, and leadership across departments to resolve issues and drive results.

Job requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or similar technical security environment.

  • Proven experience with:

    • DLP tools and Data At-Rest scanning

    • DLP incident triage and remediation

    • Operational monitoring and security response

  • Understanding of enterprise data protection policies and security regulations.

  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to accuracy and operational discipline.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional night or off-hour shifts as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with enterprise-level DLP platforms (e.g., Symantec, Forcepoint, Digital Guardian).

  • Experience working with divestiture-related data projects.

  • Knowledge of internal audit and regulatory frameworks in the financial or enterprise space.

  • Solid understanding of information security fundamentals and threat landscapes.
