Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior React AWS Developer who thrives in a hands-on, high-ownership engineering role focused on building modern, cloud-native applications. This position emphasizes React and real-time application development using WebSockets, with supporting backend and AWS cloud exposure.

You’ll work closely with architects, engineers, and product teams to create scalable, maintainable systems and should be comfortable with both frontend architecture and backend service integration.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop interactive user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and WebSocket

  • Build and consume APIs using Node.js or Spring Boot

  • Deploy and manage solutions using AWS services

  • Implement and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality

  • Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies

  • Monitor performance and troubleshoot using tools like Splunk, Grafana, or Dynatrace

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact software solutions

Job requirements

Must-Have Skills:

  • Frontend Expertise (80% of the role):

    • Strong proficiency with React.js

    • Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript

    • Experience with WebSockets for real-time web application

    • Demonstrated experience in frontend architecture and design

  • Backend Exposure:

    • Development experience with Node.js or Java (Spring Boot)

  • AWS Cloud Services:

    • Hands-on with AWS services including:

      • ECS, S3, ALB/NLB, Lambda

  • Other Core Skills:

    • Solid experience with unit testing

    • Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional Agile team

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Monitoring & Observability:

    • Experience using Splunk, Grafana, or Dynatrace

  • Infrastructure as Code:

    • Exposure to Terraform

  • Design & Leadership:

    • Prior experience in UI/UX architecture or solution design

    • Ability to lead initiatives or mentor junior developers

  • Experience with Bare Metal Provisioning

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with GPUs in data center environments

  • VMware, vSphere, ESXi, VCF, vRealize

  • Hyper-V, KVM, KubeVirt, Nutanix, NSX-T

  • Exposure to Kubernetes (K8s) and container networking

  • Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Express

  • Experience with S3 storage protocols

  • Experience migrating from OpenStack to other VM platforms
