Work Arrangement: 5 days onsite — Locals only (within 50–60 miles of client location)

Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)
PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
8+ years of experience delivering business and systems analysis artifacts, with a focus on data management and QA testing
8+ years of proficiency translating client/product strategy requirements into application requirements and user stories
8+ years of exceptional written and oral communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with diverse peers and customers
5+ years as an Agile Business Analyst with a deep understanding of Scrum concepts and methodology
5+ years of experience organizing and maintaining Product and Sprint backlogs
5+ years defining acceptance criteria and managing acceptance processes with development teams
5+ years working with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) 2.0
5+ years of advanced SQL expertise for complex queries, data profiling, and troubleshooting
Discover and document customer-centric requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to improve both business and technical processes
Act as the voice of the customer, collaborating with IT teams and stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, and needs
Gain deep knowledge of customer business applications and data management practices, advocating for the customer throughout the SDLC
Create process flows, context diagrams, and data flow diagrams using BPMN 2.0 to clarify current state and propose improvements
Break down traditional requirements into Agile Epics and Features; craft clear, concise user stories aligned with customer goals
Execute advanced SQL queries to support data mapping, profiling, and analysis
Lead comprehensive QA efforts, including:
Functional Testing: Validate systems meet requirements
Data Validation Testing: Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
Regression Testing: Confirm new integrations do not affect existing functionality
End-to-End Testing: Validate complete system workflows
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Partner with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met
Use tools like Azure DevOps and Jira to manage work items and maintain alignment with customer objectives
Qualifications
10+ years of business analysis experience with a focus on data management and QA testing
Advanced SQL skills for complex database work
Experience with QA tools, Microsoft Office, reporting systems, and SDLC tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira
Familiarity with reporting systems, operational data stores, data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage and present to senior leaders in matrixed environments
