Job description

Client: Major Financial Institution
Location: Charlotte, NC (Local candidates preferred – In-person interview required)
Compensation: W2

USC, GC, GC EAD, H4 EAD, L2 EAD, OPT, H1B (transfer is fine)

Job requirements

  • 🎓 Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field with

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on Appian UI development experience

  • Strong BPM experience (Business Process Management)

  • Experience with Appian versions 18.x, 19.x, or 20.x

  • Proficient in SAIL (Self-Assembling Interface Layer) development

  • Deep understanding of:

    • Appian BPM fundamentals

    • Designer features

    • Configuration and architecture components

  • Experience with Appian components like:

    • Tempo

    • Forums

    • Plugin development

    • Smart Services

    • Reports

    • Deployment tools

  • Experience with Web APIs and Interface Rules

  • Ability to debug, perform root cause analysis, and unit test applications

  • Able to work independently on requirement-based assignments

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams

  • Proven history of issue resolution during live project cycles

  • Comfortable with business integration and process simplification initiatives

💡 Nice-to-Haves:

Experience developing or contributing to user guides or documentation for new projects

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines in Appian

Experience in case management and role-based application design

Human task management expertise using Appian 18+ versions

Experience in database design and integration

Risk identification during the development and deployment cycle
